UMI X2: Prices hiked, Offers free Dr.Dre headsets to sweeten deal!

Now this is what we call bitter sweet.
UMI announced last week that the prices of both the UMI X2-32GB and 16GB versions were hiked to 16500INR and 14500INR. And as expected there was a huge clamour online on increasing the price of a Mobile which is yet to be launched.
And lo and behold today UMI dropped a bombshell stating all customers booking the next batch of UMI X2 (at increased prices) with get a free bundled Dr.Dre headsets.

Now for all those who know this but Dr Dre headsets don't come cheap. This particular model in the pictures is listed at $149 (8200INR approx) and cost half of the cost of the X2.
So is this legit? how come UMI is offering it for free? here is UMI's answer for it
