Lenovo is has released its first IP67 certified Android Smartphone for the Chinese market and plans to bring it to India soon.
The Lenovo S750 comes with specs that is found in hundereds of Chinese smartphones that comes out of to the market everyday like a 4.5" qhd display( 960 x 540 pixels) protected by Gorilla Glass 2, 1.2Ghz Quad Core MT6589 processor, PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory expandable to 32GB via Micro SD card.
The Lenovo S750 also has a decent 8MP with Auto Focus and LED flash and front facing 0.3MP camera for video calls. The Android 4.2 running Lenovo S750 has a 2000mAH battery.
As you can see this is pretty run-on-the-mill specs but what differentiates this phone from the rest of the devices in its class is its IP67 certification which enables the phone to survive drops from upto 4 feet onto plywood or concerete, withstand immersion in water from 15cm to 30ft for upto 30minutes and is quite resistant to shock and temperature spikes.
