Jiayu S1 with 1.7Ghz QuadCore, 2GB RAM, NFC, Wireless Charging is a Google Nexus 5 killer!

Jiayu is on a roll with the Jiayu G4 now open for booking in India winning rave reviews by even the most sceptical bloggers, is now all primed to release their next blockbuster the Jiayu S1.

Now just like the Jiayu G series were inspired by the iPhone the S series from Jiayu are inspired by the Nexus line of phones by Google and seems to have the specs and looks that seem to surpass its better known sibling.

The Jiayu S1 is a 5" smartphone equipped with a lusty 1920*1080 Full HD display with OGS manufactured by Sharp- the same company that provides the screen for the Apple iPhones.

The Jiayu S4 is powered by a Quad CoreQualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro 600 chipset and is clocked at 1.7Ghz. Adeno 320 GPU. The Jiayu G4 will come with a non expandable 32GB inbuilt memory and 2GB ROM.

The Phone will have a host of premium features including NFC, FM, Wireless Charging Capability, Gyroscope/Compass/Barometer/light sensors, OTG functionality and more. The frame of the phone is made of stainless steel!

The rear camera manufactured by Sony is a 13MP unit with BSI and CMOS supporting 1080p recording support at 30fps and front facing camera is 2MP capable of 720p recording also manufactured by Sony.

The single SIM handset is 9mm slim and has a 2300mAH non removable battery, there might be a thicker version of the Jiayu S1 with 3000mAH battery capacity. All in all with a price range expected to be below 25000INR this phone is shaping up to be a potential Nexus 5 killer!
