iOS v/s Android_OS which one is better, a user's feedback

All the guys with android phone have you ever wondered how  would it feel to use a completely different OS, to many of you hardcore android phone lover’s won’t even want to think about changing your OS as android offers great features with great customization well let’s see why and which OS is better than the other

IOS

In 2007 Steve jobs introduce the world to the smart OS in the first iPhone labeled iPhone 2G   that was the beginning of our modern smart phone and tablets. Ios 1 was a very basic and simple and had hardly any UI customization the back where now the wallpaper rules was never transparent and the icons were very basic and simple even to date there is hardly any customization available for the IOS except you jail break your phone/tablet/ipod. The latest stable build of Ios is 6.1.3 

Why Ios is better than android

Ios for some reason Ios is preferred by a lot of people, I personally didn’t like it that much as I thrive to play around with my device installing Rom’s, Mod’s, app’s and stuff and ios doesn’t let me do anything except change the wall paper in the back ground so I don’t like it that much.

• it’s really smooth and fluidic even the most recent version is running on my iPhone 3Gs with just 256 MB of ram where android 4.0 and above need at least 512 MB of ram to run smoothly. So there Ios wins in fluid UI and smoother transitions even with low ram.  

• The app icons look a lot neater on Ios than on android

• The apps and games are a lot smoother even with low resolution

• Subway surfers is playable even with 256 MB of ram which clearly shows that Ios is less demanding than android

• The UI of apps for example the stock music app on Ios is a lot better than that of stock android (not play music). 

Why Ios is not better than android

Well as you may know apple does not allow licensing of their proprietary OS so you have to live with just apple if you want Ios.

• No customization at all except some until you jail break your phone
• You can’t get it repaired in India by the authorized  service center as they are not allowed to open it and if you get it repaired by somewhere out for repairing you lose your warranty

Android

Our beloved OS made by Android inc. which was backed financially by Google  was first unveiled in 2008 with the version 1.5 (cupcake) with the HTC Dream aka T-Mobile G1 and since then android has never looked back android is preferred by many people because of its open-source nature and developer friendly community developing new apps day by day. Android offers high customization as opposed to Ios android allows you to change the UI, the lock screen, Basically everything you see in a OS. The latest stable build of android is 4.3 available only to new nexus 7 the nexus 4 and the old nexus 7 but it will eventually be available for most of the high end devices soon.

Why Android is better than Ios

• Android lets you do anything you want with it customize the UI, change the launcher to give it a completely new look, install all kinds of Rom’s, in short do anything you want.

• It has a huge no. of brands providing it like the big guns to name a few Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG, Sony etc. and a lot of Indian players like Micromax, Karbonn etc. and the best part is that it’s free unlike windows which needs a paid license so more and more brands prefer android over other OS’s

• You can have a nexus device which is basically Google’s own phone manufactured by other brands and as it the stock android the nexus gadgets are the best possible.

• It has a dedicated file manager which Ios doesn't

• You can download any pic ,song, video you like without any problem as opposed to Ios which only allows you to download pics that too rarely

• Allows you to change you default app for anything you want 

Why android is not better than Ios

• The newer versions of android need a lot of power to work and a 512 MB ram is bare minimum with a single core 1 GHz processor to do the most basic of stuff

• The app’s and games are not optimized according to the phone

• Has a lot of bloat ware and malwares waiting to attack you phone when you download any new free app which is not from a reputed developer

Well I can write a full book on why android is better but here are the few points why it’s really the best

Well there is not much one can say bad about android so this is it now you guys have to decide if you want an overpriced and seemingly useless ios device or a multi-purpose android device
