Gionee GPad 2: India Launch soon,Quad Core+Jelly Bean,priced at 13500INR (248 USD)

The GPad 2 will go on sale this month, offers Quad Core and Jelly bean at 13500INR

Gionee has announced that the GPad 2 will soon go on sale in India. It will run on a Mediatek 1.2Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, PowerVR Series5XT GPU and Android Jelly bean 4.1.2. The battery powering this 5.3 inch- QHD device will be of 3000MaH capacity and 4GB internal storage capacity (expandable to 32GB via micro SD slot)

The phone also features an in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) Sound for an enhanced multimedia experience. Free 16GB memory card along with 4 GB inbuilt memory and preloaded apps like Facebook, You Tube, NQ Security etc.

The Rear 8MP Camera will be capable of 720p video recording while the front 2MP camera would suffice your video calling needs.

Gionee has also confirmed that the E3 would be released in May. While the GPad 2 will be priced at 13500INR the Gionee E3 will be priced at a slightly higher price tag of 16000INR. One must remember that the Gionee Dream D1 is retailing in major outlets like Sangeetha at 16,500INR.

For now it would be best to wait and watch as every major and minor company is releasing a Quad core Phone. Making a hasty choice now would be unwise
