UMI X2:16GB ROM version with 1GB RAM announced in India!

UMI has announced the 16GB ROM version of its UMI X2 Superphone in India.

The phone will have the same specs as the UMI X2 32GB ROM version except that it will have have half the ROM and half the inbuilt storage capacity.

There was no mention of the difference in pricing which we expect to be atleast 3-4000INR lesser than the 32GB ROM version. Which would mean it would cost anywhere between 10-12000 at which price range it will be the cheapest phone with full HD 1080p screen resolution in the Indian Market.

This seems to make things very interesting as the company is currently fighting to release the 32GB version of the UMI X2 to the first slot of prebookings.

Lets wait and watch if the May 10th Deadline actually materialises!
