Beats By Dr Dre Confirm UMI X2 headset fake: UMI will you clarify????

After our last bit of expose created a lot of furore over the internet we were extra cautious in our approach this time to verify the authenticity of our sources while investigating this piece of news.

We contacted Dr.Dre customer care at their website, here is the mail we sent- as last time around many commentors and "bloggers" questioned GizChai on what was our original query

UMI had confirmed pricing as a reply in a thread to the beats headset discussion

UMI Confirming their Dre Dre Headsets were priced at 60USD, hence our query

The entire thread is filled with people crying foul of this new "offer" incidentally GizChina too ran an article a the very same time which we picked up (read it here)

For which UMI replied on the FB post with this

UMI Admin needs to brush up their Net-Etiquettes

Well here is the reply from Dr Dre to our original query

We had asked this earlier and we ask again.. Will UMI clear the air?

We were one of the few blogs to follow and support UMI right from February second week (when UMI first started publicity) and now when we look at the mess it is in we feel bad. UMI X2 is still a beast of a phone in the specs department and in terms of Value for Money no phone in the Indian Market can beat it.

Yet all the Indian consumer has got till date is Photos and one review. 

UMI we are waiting for answers.
