Maxx Mobile launches AX8 Race and AX9Z Race with Dual Sim, Big Battery and poor pricing!

It seems manufacturers are gone crazy with their releases in India and the 5 inch screen has become the new standard for all of them. But it has become a bit monotonous now like this launch.

After a brief lull Maxx Mobiles has launched two smartphones, the AX8 Race and AX9Z Race for 8,875INR and  12,375INRrespectively.

The Maxx AX8 Race comes with

• 5-inch capacitive touch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels.
• Dual-SIM (3G+GSM) smartphone that features a 
• 1GHz single-core MediaTek Processor and 512MB RAM. 
• 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. 
• 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera.
• Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
• 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity options in addition to FM radio. 
• 2300mAh battery. The Maxx A8 Race is available in Black and White colour options. 

The Maxx AX9Z Race comes with

• 5.3-inch display with 540x960 pixels resolution

• 1.2GHz Mediatek MT6577 dual core processor

• 512MB RAM

• 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash

• 2-megapixel front facing camera

• 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card

• Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

• 2300mAh battery

At this specs the price seems pretty unjustified. We would prefer the Micromax A110Q over the Maxx AX9Z for it comes with 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.
