Micromax has done it again, this time with the Micromax Canvas 4. While the world is getting bits and pieces of the new phone we got this specs from a spec sheet of the purported Micromax Canvas4 by an Anonymous tipster
The successor to the Micromax canvas HD this phone titled the Micromax Canvas4 comes with a Mediatek powered MT6589 Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM and impressive 16GB ROM. The GPU is PowerVR Series 5XT.
The screen is a beautiful 5 inch HD display with 1280*720p (16M colors with 312ppi) and for the first time ever in the Micromax Cnavas series Corning Gorilla Glass 2!
The imaging department is more impressive still with 13MP Auto Focus camera with 4032 x 3224 pixels, autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch to focus, Image stabilization, face and smile detection,Photosphere, HDR, Video recoding at 1080p@30fps (full HD).
The secondary camera is a 5MP camera with HD recording capability.
The of the specs are up to date too like 3G (HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100) with speed of 42 Mbps (down); HSUPA, 21 Mbps (up) ;WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 ,USB microUSB v2.0.
The sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, Compass are all there too.
The phone runs Android 4.2.1 out of the box and comes with a 2100mAH battery. The device is 8.9mm thin and weighs and weighs 145gms.
We are very excited about this phone and at a price point tipped off to be 16999INR I would definately considering retiring my trusty old Micromax canvas2 for this beauty.
