News of the UMI X2 is flying in fast and thick now. When we posted the Guest post from Shiva Sharma it generated a lot of buzz. Many voiced out their displeasure of GizChai posting positive review on UMI, others outrightly dismissed it as fake or planted.
Well for the record it was a guest post and not any kind of support/endorsement of UMI. Readers must not forget the face that we have written critically on UMI with supporting facts when they failed to deliver or made big promises which failed to materialise.
Our article was also featured on GizChina who conducted an independant enquiry and confirm our claims.
Yet now when people are getting the phones and posting photos and videos as proof we cannot be oblivious of the facts. Though we reteirate that unless and until UMI delivers the first 1000 mobiles to the Indian customers we will still remain sceptical of their intentions, but one must admit that these guys are working hard round the clock to get the job done.
Update Here is a video posted by another fan Tobi (from Germany) who recieved the phone, we are verifying the authenticity of the claim and will get you more details when we have it. Till then drool over this video of the UMI X2 final consumer model.
