Gionee is finally breaking the 2000mAH battery limit in its Smartphones as its new crop of smartphones seem to be powered by 2500mAH+ power capacities. This is crucial to this rapidly growing company in India as display's become larger, with more power hungry processors in the horizon.
The Golden V182 is a budget phone all the way- powered by a 1.3Ghz Dual Core Mediatek processor, with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM expandable via micro SD card slot. The USP of this phone is the 4000mAH battery which is said to power the phone for a record 12-14 hours talk time on 3G.
Other specs are pretty pedestrain for a sub 10k phone like a 5MP camera capable of 720p recording, and running Android 4.2 topped by Gionee's custom Amigo UI.
Still no news of the launch of the Gionee E6 in India while its younger sibling the Gionee E6 mini with downgraded specs and upgraded battery of 3000mAH is all set for launch.
