Annnndddd here we go, the biggest and probably the best news Android fans in India where waiting for all this while has arrived: Xiaomi will be launching two of its best products in India in its first bid to capture the "Next Billion" market.
The first phone will be the Xiaomi Redmi 1S 1.6GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) processor with 1GB of RAM, Adreno 305and 8GB of storage. The phone also boasts of an array of colourful black panels though initially only the grey version will be launched followed by the black and subsequently other back panels.
Other specs of the Xiaomi Redmi 1S include an expandable memory card slot which supports upto 64GB expandable storage, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection for its impressive 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.7 inches (~312 ppi pixel density) display.
The phone also comes with an 8MP primary camera with Autofocus and LED flash.
The phone will be powered by an equally impressive 2000mAH Battery which means this phone at 8500INR (Expected price) will just blow away the Micromaxes out of the water!
