Is UMI offering fake Dr.Dre headsets to pacify India customers?

Well we were very happy yesterday to see that UMI even though it has increased the price of the UMI X2 Mobiles it is offering a set of Dr.Dre headsets as a bonus for the customers who will book the phone at the enhanced price.
We even cross checked the photo provided by UMI and found that the cost of the phone was a stunning 149 USD! (8000INR) this made us wonder if this was the real deal?
And now to make matters worse GizChina has released a report today which states that fake Dr.Dre headsets are sold rampantly all over China at a mere $3!
This makes the offer all the more fishy for us.
If UMI does that then it will be a huge blow for the company that is already struggling to regain its reputation after the endless delays and small production runs.
