GizChai Exclusive- Umi Tab with 3G Phone calling facility to be launched soon in india at a sub 8000INR (147USD) price range!!

Gizchai aims to keep its readers on top of the mobile newsfeed in India and today we are proud to be the first and exclusive blog in India to Announce the arrival of this new Tab by UMI. wich was confirmed at a forum post in official Facebook India Page of UMI

ThoughUMI is yet to give out any details about the specs the picture renders shows it has striking resemblance to the iPad Mini, has single sim Support, WiFim Bluetooth and runs on a MT6589 chipset- which makes it a quad core. And since UMI is yet to release a product below a Gig of RAM it would be safe to assume it would have 1GB RAM.

At this price in India the closest we can get is the recently released ASUS MeMO Pad.

Of course the market is flooded with cheap tablets but UMI seems to be keen on setting a benchmark for all these players as all its announced releases scream "Flagship" at budget to Midrange Prices.

This seems to be a good tactic by UMI as the delays in X2 being released in India caused plenty of dissapointment and badmouthing in its official Facebook India Page and UMI has been able to control this by sending out a steady stream of updates and new phone release details to keep the people pacified.
