Exclusive: Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 is re-branded Blu Life View!

We were the first in the scene to declare the rebranded avatar of the Micromax Canvas 4 and now its time to take the covers off the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2! Micromax is continuing its love with BLU and is now bringing in the BLU life view to India rebranded as the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 according to our trusty tipster the mmx_insider!

This will be another premium phone from the stables of Micromax and will feature a 5.7" HD screen with 1280*720 pixels with 258ppi. The Doodle 2 will also feature Gorilla Glass 2 protection like the Canvas 4.

The Micromax Doodle 2 will run on a rather outdated MediaTek MT6589 SoC with 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, a PowerVR Series5XT series GPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity expandable to 64GB via Micro SD card slot. In terms of Build Quality this will be the best in the Micromax Stable as the phone will have an Aluminium back!!

The Dual SIM Canvas Doodle 2 will also feature a 12MP primary camera with BSI and LED flash capable of 1080p video recording. Front Facing camera will be a 5MP unit with 720p recording capability.

The Canvas Doodle 2 will have 161 x 82.5 x 8.9 mm dimensions, weigh 220 grams and will be powered by a 2600mAh battery, which is decent considering the increase in size, but could be better. 

The Doodle 2 will run Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 out of the box upgradable to Android 4.3 via OTA.

But what is worrying is the price, mmx_insider has said that the box reads 24999INR! but we reckown the street price will be 18999INR. Good going Micromax! just don't hype this too much please.
