Lenovo K900 and P780:Phone with the biggest battery in the world officially launched in India along with S920, S820, A706 and A390

Lenovo seems to have made of mind to take all market leaders Samsung others with a slew of new releases in the Indian market. As predicted K900 was officially launched at 32999INR which is close to the international pricing of $535 in China. The Intel Atom Z2580 2Ghz powered full metal body phone is a first of Sorts for Lenovo and India is the First International release of this phone after its home debut last month.

It is one great phone in terms of specs, while in terms of benchmarks it is the 2nd best phone in the world only trailing the monstrous octacore Samsung Galaxy S4. Check out the benchmark scores here.

The rest of the specs are as impressive with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB built-in storage(Not expandable), 13MP rear camera with a Sony Exmor RS lens and 2MP front-facing camera and 2,500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the K900 supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

However the biggest and the most exciting phone in this release cycle has been the lenovo P780 aka the phone with the biggest battery in the world! A monstrous 4000MaH battery.

This phone has 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. A 1.2 GHz quad-core MT6589 processor and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-Box

Other specifications of the smartphone include 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 32GBexpandable memory via microSD, 3G (HSDPA: 42Mbps, HSUPA: 11Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. The smartphone is priced at 22,529INR.

Other features of the smartphone include 8MP rear camera, 2MP rear camera, 4GB built-in storage, microSD slot for additional storage up to 32GB and 2,250 mAh battery. Pricing is set at 26,399INR.

Lenovo S820

This is a dual-SIM phone that features a 4.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It's powered by a 1.2GHZ quad-core MT6589 processor and has 1GB of RAM.

The phone sports a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing shooter. It offers 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone has a 2000mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has been priced at  19,599INR.

Lenovo A706

This phone features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. And unlike its Mediatek powered siblings this phone is powered by a 1.2GHZ quad-core Qualcomm MSM 8225Q processor and has 1GB of RAM. The dual-SIM phone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing shooter. 

It offers 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone has a 2000mAh battery. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has been priced at Rs.15,949. It comes in Black and White/ Grey colours.

Last and the least priced the lenovo A390  has a  4″ (480 x 800 pixels, 233 ppi pixel density) display and is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor with 512MB of RAM. It Supports Dual Sim

 It has 4GB of internal memory and a 5 MP camera. It has been priced at Rs. 8,689/-.
