Micromax Announces 4.2 Jelly bean Upgrade to Micromax A116 Canvas HD

Micromax has officially unveiled the Android 4.2 upgrade to its popular A116 Canvas HD series of phones. This update brings goodies like  Lockscreen Widgets, Photo Sphere, Gesture Typing, Miracast, Day Dream, as well as other key features like improved-semi transparent notification panel and toggels, GPS fix, Panorama camera functionality and colour reproduction.

The official update is available only via Micromax Superfone Stores for now and users have to take their phones for the update.

Rumors are there will be a 4.3 update too but we caution readers not to take this piece of news too seriously as the probability of this happening is slim to none.
