Karbonn Titanium S9: Samsung galaxy Note 2 clone with 13MP Camera launched at 19990INR

Friday is normally the day Blockbusters and new movie releases by the big stars in Bollywood is usually done. Phone companies seem to have a taken a leaf out the Bollywoods books and have released to of the most ambitious Smartphones in the Indian Market today.

First was the impressive and our new favorite replacing the Gionee E6 the Auxus Nuclea N1 by iBerry and now comes another flagship from an Indian maker the Karbonn Titanium S9.

Though its specs are not as impressive as the Auxus Nuclea N1 the Titanium represents the most costly and probably the first HD screen phone by karbonn.

The Karbonn Titanium S9 is a dual-SIM (like all Chinese Rebrands) running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 mediatek processor with 1GB of RAM. The phone has 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The phone also has a huge 5.5-inch IPS HD display (Galaxy Note 2 ..Sigh) with 720p resolution of 1280*720.

The phone sports a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash light and the front has a 5-megapixel camera which can be used for video calling over 3G or Wifi

There is a 2600mAh battery. The connectivity options in the phone includes support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and other features include Sensors like G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Ambient Light Sensor.

But we are still not convinced with the pricing at 19990INR it is too overpriced even though it comes with a free flipcover. When the original Galaxy Note is available at 20000INR I really wonder who will buy the titanium S9?
