Just a week ago we got news of Micromax working on a 1080p Windows Phone and now it seems that world PC leaders Lenovo are going bullish on their mobile plans and are looking beyond Android to WindowsPhone 8 as an alternative line
Alleged leaked pictures of the Windows Phone device by Lenovo |
As per news leaked by a Chinese website Lenovo is reportedly working on a WP8 device with 1080p display. The upcoming Windows 8.1 update is said to bring 1080p display, and Quad core support for WP platform which was restricted to 720p till date.
The handset, which may either have the code name Lenovo Aupres and Lenovo Snoopy (leaked by evLeaks) is said to have a Quad-core processor, 1080P screen which is either 4.7 inch or 5 inch, and will be priced at 3,000 yuan ($488) or less
Now this news has to be taken with a generous pinch of salt as Lenovo has not even remotely indicated till date that it would be working on a windows phone. But given the fact that when local companies like Micromax can work on a Windows Phone device it would make no sense if the No.2 in mobile from China does not make one does it?
