Global Impact Challenge by Google In India offers 3,00,00,000INR for use of tech in Social Entrepreneurship!

Google has opened its registrations for its its Global Impact Challenge in India for the support of innovators who are exploring new ways to solve the world's most pressing problems.

According to a blog post by Google it says-

"If you’re an Indian non-profit, tell us how you would use technology and innovative approaches to tackle problems in India and around the world. Four selected non-profits will each receive a Rs 3 crore Global Impact Award and assistance from Google to help make their project a reality"

This is really impressive stuffy by Google as it is not only pushing the use of Technology where it actually can make a difference to the lives of people and conditions around the world it is also providing Social Entrepreneurs new Vistas to explore and new Ideas to develop

The Electronic Eyes and Ears program by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) which is using next generation camera traps, equipped with automated sensors, to better protect threatened wildlife.These Sensors instantaneously transmit alerts of gunfire, vehicle movement and human presence.
