ZTE Grand X and 6 Android smartphones mark ZTE's India debut.

ZTE one of the elite phone manufacturers from China have made their entry into India hotting up the Android smartphone race. We had recieved confirmed news about this entry months ago and now this has been confirmed. What is interesting is the fact that the company is releasing entry and mid level androids as of now and it might be a while before we see the tegra 4 powered beasts from ZTE in India.


ZTE Grand X
The ZTE Grand X is one of the better devices in the lineup launched today which sports a 5 inch phone sporting Qhd resolution of 540X960 pixels, 1.2Ghz Quad Core MT6589 processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage expandable to 32GB via micro SD card. 

5 MP primary camera and VGA front facing camera. Battery life is expected to be excellent given the 2500mAH battery but is the phone worth the quoted MRP of 14,999INR?

ZTE Blade L
The ZTE Blade L also has a 5 inch WVGA display,  powered with 1 GHz MT6577 dual core processor with 512 MB RAM, 2000mAH battery. 

The phone also has a 5MP primary camera and VGA front facing camera. The ZTE Blade L is priced at 12599INR. The Blade L runs on Android 4.0 ICS.

The ZTE Blade G2 features 4.5-inch FWGVA display, Android 4.1 and 1GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM. The phone also packs 4GB of internal storage, and 5-megapixel rear camera. It is priced at Rs.11,599.

Priced Rs. 11,999, ZTE Blade E runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. It sports a 4.5 screen, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel rear camera, 0.3 megapixel front camera and as far as connectivity is concerned, it has WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.

Apart from these mid-range smartphones, ZTE introduced two budget Android handsets with dual-sim functionality. ZTE Blade C has a 4-inch screen, 1GHz dual-core CPU, 512MB and costs Rs 7,599. Below it is the ZTE Kis Flex, priced at Rs 5,799 and having features like 3.5-inch display, 1GHz processor and 256MB RAM.

Along with the PHONES, ZTE launched four 3G-enabled Data Cards under the Swift Range. The Swift download 7.2Mbps Data Card Offers Speed, Supports voice calls and costs Rs 1,799. Swift Plus and Swift WPlus ( Wi-Fi ) offer download Speed of 14.4Mbps and cost Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,250, respectively. Swift Speed, Available at Rs 2,499, Provides download Speed ​​of 21.6Mbps and Supports voice calling.

Xu Dejun , CEO, ZTE India, said, "Today ZTE enjoys a Customer Base of Indian Handset over 32 million users.
