Can Sony Tianchi be the world's first True Mediatek powered Octacore Phone on Nov 12?

Well is this report is to be believed then we might see the first True Octacore by Mediatek the MT6592 being released on the Sony Tianchi on the 12th Of November 2013.

Sony which had earlier partnered with Mediatek to use its MT6589 Quad Core Chipset in the Sony Xperia C which is selling in decent numbers could not make a dent in the Indian market thanks to the reidiculously overpriced 19999INR (the Canvas Turbo which had a Turbo chipset and Gionee E6 are both miles ahead compared to the Xperia C at the same price range).

So even if the rumors are true (most unlikey) that the Sony Tianchi be the worlds first true Octacore phone powered by the Mediatek MT6952 chipset we are not too excited as this would automatically mean a price tag of 25000INR+ at the minimum which is definately a tall ask, unless ofcourse you have an Full HD screen and 2GB RAM thrown in to sweeten the deal like Micromax did today.

All in all the suspense is building up for the eventual release of the Octacore Chipset by Mediatek it remains to be seen which company will finally take the cake in becoming the first Mobile company to sport it, answers will be out by Christmas!
