Meizu enters India with the M1 Note priced at 7000INR

Meizu one of the more stylish and sophisticated manufacturer's in the Chinese phone market are reportedly prepping the decks to launch their budget monster the Meizu m1 Note in India in April.

While overtues were evident in its social media posts for quite sometime now its now been confirmed that the m1 Note will be the first salvo that the smartphone maker will fire in India.

The m1 Note boasts of Spec that will easily put a mid-ranger to shame, namely:

  • 5.5-inch 1080p Sharp IGZO display
  • MediaTek MT6752 64-bit 1.7GHz Octa-core
  • Mali-760 MP2 GPU
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 16GB or 32GB internal storage, no microSD card support
  • 3,140mAh battery
  • Android 4.4.4, Flyme 4.0 skin
  • 13MP rear-facing camera, LED flash
  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • 150.7mm tall x 75.2mm wide x 8.9mm thick, weighing a mere145g

This launch is aimed squarely at the growing popularity of entry level budget "Power-droids" like the Xiaomi Redmi 2, Asus Zenfone 5 and Moto G (V 2.0)

Meizu holds the upper hand clearly over these phones in terms of Battery life, Camera and style (If you are a fan of the Apple iPhone inspired knockoffs) but the phone will lose points on the fact that only the 1GB RAM version is being released and that the internal memory is non expandable.

Are you excited? We surely are!
