Micromax A120:Quad Core, 1080p Screen and 2GB RAM at 20000INR($384) too good to be true?
https://gizchai.blogspot.com/2013/05/micromax-a120quad-core-1080p-screen-and.html
We are not convinced and are still rubbing our eyes in disbelief.
While UMI was the one of the first phone manufacturers in the market to announce a quad core with 2GB RAM and 1080p screen in the budget segment it seems as if Micromax will take the coveted spot from them at a tad higher price tag of 20000INR!
Listed currently on Sulekha.com the specs of the phone are as follows
While the likes of Lenovo K900 was supposed to be priced similarly at 25000INR it has now been confirmed that this would not be a relaity, nor we would be seeing the Lenovo K900 in India anytime soon. This makes Micromax the King in the budget smartphone segment again taking the fight square away from its Chinese competitors like UMI, Jiayu, Alcatel and local manufacturers like Zen, karbonn, Xolo and Spice!
Not to mention Samsung, HTC and Sony better start taking the Micromax, who incidentally are celebrating a million of their Canvas phones sold in India, threat seriously -for soon they might have a David who might knock off plenty of Goliaths!
But then take this news with a pinch of salt as Sulekha is not the official online partner for Micromax (snapdeal is) and plus as of now all these purpoted pictures being circulated online are that of the Micromax HD A116. So don't be too surprised if this phone never turns up, in which case the Jiayu G6 will take the title of a true budget superphone.
