Gionee Elife E6 is a unabashedly inspired by the iPhone and going by the beautiful design and the specs it packs one can be forgiven if you mistake it as a android phone from Apple (oh the horror! ;)
Gionee got a bit of a backlash over the internet about its premium pricing for this MTK powered smartphone pegging the price at 25-30k INR range and subseqently the company has been in damage control mode to protect the Elife E6 from negative publicity before the phone hits the marketplace.
The latest ad by Gionee however is another tribute to the famous iPhone ads. It focuses on the beautiful construction of the phone, the slim factor of the device, the beautiful screen etc a la iphone!
Good job Gionee but please do keep the pricing under 25k if you really want to see those decent sales figures on this beautiful device
