Well GizChai was first in the scene when it announced the entry of the upcoming flagship the Gionee E6 in India and now with the official unveiling just days away in China more pictures of the flagship device has leaked and this time in stunning white making us drool in anticipation!!
What is most interesting about the design is the flat, sleek and sexy design of the phone which stands out from any Chinese Phone currently in the market and inside sources from Gionee say that the design is so flat that one can make the Gionee E6 "Stand up on a table"
As far as the specs of this beauty is concerned the company has officially confirmed the presence of a MT6589T (Turbo) Quad Core Chipset clocked in at an impressive 1.5Ghz, a 13MP camera which rivals even the iPhone 5 in terms of low light photography, a 5 MP Front facing camera capable of 720p HD recording.
What is being speculated is the 2GB RAM as conflicting reports say that the phone may be 1GB RAM with 8GB or lesser ROM (16GB in the China version) to keep costs down and compete against the newly released Micromax Canvas 4 which Gionee is taking as a direct competitor!!
The Mobile is also said to be a custom made android powers saver feature which is said to boost battery life and optimize performance
Personally I declined buying a UMI X2 and have mentally discounted off the Micromax Canvas 4 because of service issues and Gionee has an impressive sales and service selection in Banagalore-India's IT capital!
They are the only chinese companies selling direct in stores like Univercell and also have service points in every State and every major city in India!! Which is impressive for a Chinese companies as even established big brands do not have such a service network. Here is the snapshot of the Bangalore service stations alone
We would like to say again that With a pricing of 18000- 20000INR we expect to have a winner in the hands of Gionee and with the dealer and service network of the best chinese phone in India we expect the Micromax Canvas 4 to be dead on arrival. And likes of UMI X2, Zopo Zp980, Iocean X7, Karbonn S6, Lemon A4 have a stiff competitor.
