lenovo has released a budget tablet at an attractive price point of 8980INR for the Indian market the Lenovo A1000. The 7 inch, 1280*600px, tablet is a budget tablet powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK8317 processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, integrated graphics card and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

The Lenovo A1000 comes with SIM support for Voice Calling - enabling you to use it like a tablet or a regular phone. The tablet is 10.7mm thin and only weighs 340g making the Lenovo A1000 tablet a perfect size for reading, listening to music, and web-surfing.
