While UMI is struggling to get the
UMI X2 released in India another competing Chinese brand Jiayu has gone ahead and done a select-customer-preview release of the
Jiayu G4.

Although no further details were revealed, Jiayu had earlier announced that the phone would be released in two stages. The First stage where the youth version with 1GB RAM and smaller battery "Thin" version would be released followed by the "Thick" version with 3000MaH battery with 2GB RAM and 32 GB ROM.

The S1 which is still under development is a Snapdragon equipped flagship phone with 1080p screen and 2GB RAM with 32GB ROM.

Pricing of the G4 youth version is expected to be in the 9-12000INR Range while that of the Premium version in the 15000+ Range. Availability will be announced soon by Jiayu.
