Spice Stellar Slatepad: Nothing so Stellar at 8499INR (158$)

1Ghz Processor, 3000MaH battery, 512 MB RAM dissapoints, Jelly Bean and Calling Features are the only redeeming points

The Spice Stellar Slatepad which made its debut online a couple of days ago has been officially priced at 8499INR
However at this price tag the Slatepad offers more of a Slate than a pad experience. It Comes with a lowly 1GHz processor, a 7 inch 1024*600 pixel screen, 512MB RAM, a 3.2 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front facing camera and a 3000MaH Battery. These features which not even compare to an entry level droid are one of the core reasons why Spice has not been able to make an impact in the tablet space in India.

The only redeeming features is the OS- 4.1 Jelly Bean, 3G calling options and a free carry cover if you book one now.

The tablet has a measely 4GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB via external micro SD card slot.

When Spice can come up with great phones like the Pinnacle Pro we are not sure why Spice came up with this tab at such a high price and outdated specs. The Rumored UMI Tab or the upcoming Ramos Tab seem like great alternatives to this Slate!

Our advise- Stay away.
