Gionee has announced the successor to one of its very first models the Gionee CTRL V3 in the form of the new Gionee CTRL V4.
The Gionee CTRL V4 runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by an impressive 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, but a lowly 512MB of RAM. It supports dual SIM dual standby.
The Gionee CTRL V4 has a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixel display resolution, A 5MP rear camera with LED Flash capable of HD Video Recording and a VGA front-facing camera.
The mobile supports Yamaha PA 168 digital sound system and has a PowerVR Series 5XT GPU. The phone has proximity sensor, G-sensor, E-Compass and a digital compass and also comes with an inbuilt Antivirus software.
The CTRL V4 has a built in 4GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.Other features included are inbuilt Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. It has an integrated FM Radio. The battery however is a lowly 1800mAH.
