UMI X2: Turbo bookings now open, July 10-15 delivery promised. Fans react cautiously

Well UMI has been in the news for all the wrong reasons in the past few months had some good news in the past few weeks when the first batch of phones arrived and the lucky few members who had booked it first got it.
It has now been revealed on the Facebook page that the upgraded 1.5Ghz model with the MT6589T processor is up for order as predicted by us and the first batch will go to the members who chose to upgrade their existing order.
While this has bought some relief to some of the anxious UMI pre bookers who had opted for an upgrade the rest of the community is treating this news with cautious optimism.
"If I had to wait for another month for the X2 turbo then why on earth was the normal one delivered to me after 6months?" posted one user in the UMI X2 FB page.
Others are calling this as another gimmick by the company to buy more time. We are awaiting for more news on this case and will update you when we start getting confirmations of the delivery.
