Clockwork and CWM – is a custom recovery for Android phones and tablets that allows you to perform several advanced recovery, restoration, installation and maintenance operations on your Android device that aren’t possible with the stock recovery.
So if you are a UMI X2 owner dive right ahead and unlock your phone to limitless possibilities.

How to install ClockworkMod Recover on your UMI X2?
Step1:
Ensure that your Mobile phone is rooted (all UMI X2 devices come prerooted, so no need to worry here)
Step2
Download and install Mobileuncle MTK tools from the Google play store
Step 3
Download the ClockworkMod Recovery img files
Step 4
Afte downloading the CWM img files extract it and copy recovery.img only to root of your SD Cards
{ i.e. sdcard/recovery.img or sdcard2/recovery.img }
Step 5
Now open Mobile Uncle Tools apps you recently installed. and grant Superuser permissions when asked

How to install ClockworkMod Recover on your UMI X2?

- There click on recovery update menu
- Then click on the recovery image name of ‘ recovery.img ’
- Let the app install the recovery, you will be asked "after that apps ask you for reboot your device in to recovery?" Choose yes
- And we are done! CWM recovery is installed on your device!!
