Spotted on Chinese sites the Gionee E5 sports of an impossibly thin 6.85mm body, which seems to have become the design ideology of Gionee nowadays.
The Gionee E5 comes loaded with the MT6589T chipset clocked in at an 1.5Ghz- Quad Core Chipset, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM (non expandable, sniff :( )
The 4.7 inch 1280*720 p resolution screen is a SuperAmoled unit on the Gionee E5 the same one seen on the Samsung Galaxy S3!!
The primary camera is 8MP and the secondary camera is 5MP and comes loaded with the bag of software tricks from Gionee. And if we were to compare the camera quality of the E6 then we can expect the E5 to be a stunner of a smartphone in Camera quality too.
