Canvas 4: feature ads remind us of Nokia ads

The Micromax Canvas 4 should go down in the history books of every management school textbooks as a great case study on building the hype for ones products. And rightfully so, when a manufacturer who has never released a product above the 13K INR range suddenly steps into the 18K+ Range on needs to ensure no stone is left unturned and despite being a Chinese knock off ensure the customers feel what they are investing their moolah in is indeed a premium device!


Well Micromax is continuining this strategy in the first series of online ads too which shows of the stand-out features of the canvas 4 like Build quality, Camera features, preloaded apps etc. The ads are reminiscent of the Nokia ads which accompany every new Nokia launch complete with the Videshi faces (Micromax atleast you could have got some desi faces for the shoot!) and short, sweet feature bursts



The ads are indeed well made and kudos to Micromax for the effort! But will this be enough to coax consumers to shell out 18k for a Micromax?
