GizChai Exclusive:Gionee E5:Benchmarks show it is a Samsung Galaxy S3 competitor with a Lumia Body!

Its turning out to be a crazy weekend and we are going nuts at all the high-end-specd, budget priced, that have released in the past 48hrs in India. But the biggest draw of the week has been the Gionee E5 which seems to be making to the top of the must-have-phones-for-2013 in my personal list!

Here is 5 reasons why the Gionee E5 may become the hottest selling phone in India!
1) Build Quality

Well the build quality is something that we are yet to seen in any Chinese company (available in India of course) and put it simply it is a Samsung Galaxy S3 in a Nokia Lumia body- what a amazing combination!

To start with the 4.8 inch screen sits smug on the phone that is just 6.85mm thin!
The panels are beautiful and remind us of the Lumia design philosphy all around

2) Specifications
Well if you are not happy with the sheer beauty of the built of the phone then have a peek at the internals of the phone

It is little wonder that benchmarks if not toe to toe with the Samsung Galaxy S3, is something that you can boast of because the phone will cost you half of the Galaxy S3!

3) Camera

The camera on the Gionee E5 is an 8MP unit capable of Full HD recording at 30fps,and the front facing  camera is 5MP capable of 720p video recording at 30fps.

Now this is impressive given the fact that while the Gionee E6 will have a larger 13MP camera the 8MP gives us hope that the phone will be competitively priced, lowers then the E6 making it a phone costing 16-20000INR.

4) Music and Sound

For all the music lovers out there the Gionee E5 comes with DTS surround sound and a Beats-lookalike-in-ear plugs. So if you are not busy blasting the room with music, you can enjoy the music on your headset and make heads turn at the same time!

5) Price and Support
Although the price is not yet officially announced, nor the availibility we have good reason to believe that this phone is designed to be the successor to the Gionee Dream D1 and as such should cost anywhere between 16,000-20,000INR. Plus Gionee has an excellent customer support base in India something that even Indian  phone manufacturers are struggling to provide.

With phones being sold out of reputed stores like Univercell and availibilty of magnitude that every other shop in the gully seems to stock Gionee the brands like the Micromax Canvas 4, iBerry Auxus Nucela N1, Karbonn Titanium S9 should be feeling really hot and bothered under their collars.

The Gionee E5 is not the ultimate phone but keeping all the features in mind it is obvious that the phone shaping out to be one of the most hottest selling devices this monsoon in India. Release and availibilty is expected in late July or early August in India and China.
