Technology is a commodity with a very short and combustible shelf life. A Dual core phone with a SuperAMOLED screen was specs of a flagship device in late 2011-early 2012 but today this (minus SuperAMOLED) is a common configuration for all entry level phones.
So the Micromax A90S which came out with its more famous sibling- the Micromax Canvas 2 A110 was a phone that made waves in the market when it was released for a rather pricey 13k odd price tag.
Fast forward to 2013 the price of the Micromax Canvas A90S is now dropped to a record 8900INR.
This is a pretty decent price for the outdated specs it now sports, the SuperAMOLED screen and 8MP camera being the only redeeming factors. But still at 8900INR the Micromax A90S is the cheapest Smartphone with SuperAMOLED money can buy in the Indian Smartphone market.
That is if you are not considering the Samsung S Advance which is now at 11-12k price tag! and this baby had released at 25k price tag! Talk about smartphone prices!!! Sigh
