Nokia Lumia 928: Debuts for US, shows off Pureview Camera with OIS in video recording Airborne!

The Nokia Lumia 928 made its debut for the US markets. The Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset running Lumia 928 comes with an Amoled display paired with Nokia's own Clear black technology. The 4.5  in HD screen has a 332ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 2 for protection and runs Windows Phone 8

The Camera boasts of a 8MP camera of 3280 x 2464 pixels with Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, autofocus, xenon flash. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), makes it easy to capture blur-free pictures and videos

Internal storage is fixed at 32GB and 1GB RAM. The focus of this phone has been the introduction of pureview technology and although we do not have a 41MP camera her it comes with all the tricks of its older sibling.

Check out the official video from Nokia which shows off the Lumia 928 imaging capabilities aoirbrorne on a remote controlled helicopter! (Though with a pinch of salt as last time Nokia was cheeky enough to slip as professional recording from a HD Camera as a Lumia Video!)

The International launch seems unlikely in the near future but we do hope we see more of PureView in the Lumia series launching in India soon!
